Controller and scope
MFP ECOM (SARL), 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France, SIREN 980027742, is the controller for this Bange EU/UK store. For privacy requests, contact support@bange.uk. This policy covers the store, customer service, delivery tracking and returns.
Data and purposes
We process contact and delivery details, order and payment status, account information, service messages and return or warranty evidence. Technical information may include IP address, device/browser information, consent choices and browsing events. We use these data to fulfil orders and requests (contract), retain invoices and comply with law (legal obligation), and protect transactions and resolve disputes (legitimate interests). Necessary details are required to process an order; other information is optional unless explained on the form.
Newsletter and cookies
Newsletter registration is optional and based on consent. You can unsubscribe using the link in each marketing email. Non-essential cookies and marketing or analytics tracking require consent where applicable. Refusing them does not prevent purchasing. Use the store’s cookie preferences to accept, refuse or withdraw consent. Choices may be stored separately on each domain. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Recipients and payments
Only necessary information is shared with providers supporting the service: Shopify for the store, checkout and store emails; payment providers; Google Workspace for customer service; Wia Sourcing and carriers for fulfilment; ParcelWill for tracking; ReturnZap and Sendcloud for returns and labels. Providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on the service. Complete payment-card details are handled by the payment providers; do not send them by email.
International processing
These providers and logistics partners may process data outside the EEA or UK, including Canada, the United States and China for fulfilment. Transfers must use the applicable legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, with supplementary measures where required. You may request information about the safeguards and a copy where applicable at support@bange.uk.
Retention
Order and service data are kept for the customer relationship and the applicable warranty or claim period, then restricted to what is necessary for legal obligations or disputes. Accounting documents are retained for the French statutory period, generally ten years. Marketing data are retained until consent is withdrawn or, for inactive prospects, for up to three years after the last meaningful contact. A minimal suppression record may be retained to honour an unsubscribe request. Cookie lifetimes depend on the technology and are explained in the consent information or Shopify’s cookie policy.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Email support@bange.uk. We may request proportionate identity evidence only where necessary. We normally respond within one month; a lawful extension will be explained. Deletion may be limited by accounting obligations or legal claims. You can complain to the CNIL, your local EEA supervisory authority, or the ICO in the UK.
Security and updates
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures, but no online system is risk-free. Where a decision with legal or similarly significant effects is based solely on automated processing, you may exercise the applicable rights, including requesting human intervention and contesting the decision. Shopify Network Intelligence
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information about visits and purchases to operate the store and, through enabled Shopify Network Intelligence, may combine it with interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including security, personalization and advertising. No other merchant can access our customer data through this feature. Advertising and other non-essential uses respect your applicable consent choices; you can withdraw consent through cookie preferences.
